Hydrothermal-metasomatic formations of Russia

The map of hydrothermal-metasomatic formations (HMF) of Russia has been compiled for the first time. HMF are considered as associations of hydrothermally-altered rocks in their total volumes with consideration for their external zones of weak alterations. The classification of HMF in Russia is produced. The HMF types are marked out according to the character of their associations with geological formations and disposition in the sphere of hydrothermal function. The classification of genetic types of ore deposits which is suited to the requirements of HMF ore content analysis is formed. The database of HMF in Russia is made as attributive tables for GIS-project. The atlas of geology-genetic models of chief types of ore-bearing HMF is created. The recommendations for prediction of hydrothermal-metasomatic deposits are proposed.
