EXPERIENCE OF COMPILING AN INTERSERIES CORRELATION CHART OF CARBONIFEROUS DEPOSITS OF THE SIBERIAN PLATFORM

The paper presents a layout of the Interseries Correlation Chart of Carboniferous deposits within the limits of the Norilsk, Anabar-Vilyui and Angara-Yenisei legends to a series of sheets of the State Geological Map at a scale of 1:1,000,000, the third generation. The zoning map was compiled taking into account the customization of the structural-facies division used for relevant serial legends. The age and areas of the Carboniferous units mapped in the Siberian Platform were updated and refined for compiling sheets of State Geological Maps at scales of 1:1,000,000 and 1:200,000, serial legends and amendments to them. Local stratigraphic units are described.
